Childbirth and Parenting Classes at HUP
Penn nurses teach the Childbirth and Parenting classes at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) to enhance your birth experience and help you prepare for the new addition to your family. Topics include preparing for birth, baby care, breastfeeding, infant massage, infant CPR, and more! Classes are offered either virtually or in-person. Click here for class descriptions and to register online. You can also email childbirthclass@pennmedicine.upenn.edu or call/text 215-410-1226 with questions.
You can also sign up for a live, virtual tour of the Labor and Delivery Unit at the website above. However, if you register to take the 3-Week Preparation for Childbirth Class, a tour of labor and delivery is included in the class and you do not need to sign up for a separate tour.
