Providers at the Helen O. Dickens Center aim to provide personalized and high-quality pregnancy care for you. We offer regular prenatal care, care for high-risk pregnancies (High Risk and Perinatal Diabetes), and Centering Pregnancy group prenatal care. Our resident physicians and nurse practitioners team with attending physicians, nurse care coordinators, social workers and nutritionists to make sure that you are prepared for delivery and postpartum. The Center connects you with city and community agencies, state-funded programs and managed care organizations, to ensure that you have access to the services that fit your educational, financial and psychosocial needs.
When you deliver your baby at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, you will be cared for by our larger team of delivering providers. This team may include some physicians or midwives you may not have gotten the chance to meet in the office.
